Vera Clinic

I had a hair transplant surgery at Vera Clinic in November 2023, precisely one year ago. 6000 grafts we were transplanted onto the frontal region and the mid-scalp, while the crown was not yet covered. The surgery was carried out by Dr. Saim Nedim Ecevit. I'd say the results are great. The density is not quite what it used to be before the hair loss (well, to be expected), but high enough for me not to worry about my looks whatsoever. The hairline is about as natural as it gets, one doesn't notice that something's off unless they know already that I've had a hair transplant. Somewhat surprisingly to me, the curls of each hair are in practically perfect alignment with each other. Also note that throughout this whole year I've been applying 5% minoxidil and finasteride topically. I suppose, without this treatment the results would not be quite as stable. The process of the surgery itself was rather comfortable (the pain during anaesthetising is inevitable), and I stopped taking painkillers on the day after. Generally, I was satisfied with everything related to accommodation and transportation. In conclusion, yeah, a very positive experience!

My second hair transplant at this clinic was a life-changing experience. I discovered this clinic through extensive online research in 2021. As someone who has been in front of the camera since my teenage years, my personal image has always been important to me. I have worked as a model, created YouTube content since 2006, and have been a photographer, constantly interacting with clients. However, in 2016, I started experiencing hair loss, which greatly affected my confidence in front of the camera. I stopped making videos and it took a toll on my everyday life. That's when I found Vera Clinic and decided to get my first hair transplant in 2021. I was extremely happy with the results, but after a year, I realized I needed more density. The first transplant was so successful that I didn't hesitate to contact Vera Clinic again. I was pleased to find out that they had upgraded their clinic to a new location. My second experience was even better than the first one. I was promptly booked and my contact, Zahi, followed up with me regularly. I want to give a special thank you to Lea and a huge, huge thank you to the amazing doctor, Dr. Emin Gül, who has truly changed my life. During my consultation, he was thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was pleasantly surprised when he stayed throughout the surgery, ensuring attention to detail and displaying his expertise. He understood exactly what I wanted. To anyone considering hair transplant clinics in Istanbul, I highly recommend Vera Clinic. As a Canadian, I would do it again for the third and fourth time. They go above and beyond from the moment you arrive at the airport. The airport transfer, translators at the clinic, and explanations throughout the surgery were all exceptional. I have nothing negative to say about anyone at this clinic. If I could, I would give them 10 stars! Posting this review during my 8th month recovery and seeing amazing results. I was super nervous when i arrived at Istanbul airport but had a pleasant experience with vera clinic. Airport pickup, hotel, preop, surgery, postop and recovery went well. communication is still good when i back at my home.
